About Mr. Sharif

Mr. Sharif is a man of varied talents and interests.  A graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Texas Law School at Austin, Mr. Sharif has been in full-time law practice since 1988.  His areas of expertise include personal injury and First Amendment litigation.  He recently argued before the California Supreme Court in the important case of Gates v. Discovery Channel, et al.  His practice extends to all state and federal courts in California.  He is well known as an aggressive and tireless advocate for the rights of his clients.

Mr. Sharif is a husband and father of three daughters.  He and his family have lived in San Diego for fourteen years.  They are active members of their community and the local Lutheran church.  Mr. Sharif is the founder of the Frances Kitchen Project.  Through Frances Kitchen, Mr. Sharif and his team of dedicated compatriots have brought relief to hundreds of disadvantaged children in San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico.  Information regarding Frances Kitchen can be found in the Important Documents section of this website.

Mr. Sharif enjoys doing mission work in areas of the world where other missionaries are sometimes afraid to go.  In November 2003, over six months after the start of the war in Iraq, Mr. Sharif was part of a team of twelve missionaries that spent 10 days in Baghdad meeting with Iraqi?s to discuss Christianity and learn more about Islam.  He returned from that trip with the abundant hope that peace in Iraq is possible and that the truth of what is happening in Iraq is far more complex (and hopeful) than we are being lead to believe by the mainstream media.
